We Believe

For what we believe in detail look here.

People: We believe all people have been created for the purpose of relationship with God. That all people are called to a relationship with Jesus.

Salvation: We believe God reaches out to mankind through many different ministries, people and means, including his own power, but that salvation is found only in relationship with Jesus. That there is no other name given under heaven or earth that man may be saved but by Christ alone.

Jesus: We believe Jesus was fully God, and fully man. That the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one and the same God, in three manifestations. We believe that only God is good, that only the sacrifice of Jesus is able to pay for sins, that man does not earn salvation by works but by trusting in the sacrifice of Jesus alone. However we also believe that the closer a person person get's to God the less they will desire sin, a person who is saved will be moved by the Spirit of God to a live a life of purity. Although there never could be the claim to perfection, righteousness should characterise our lives.

#1 tip for life

The bible says "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom". God is the wisest most patient, and kind person you can know. If you want to be blessed in life fear and OBEY God, don't blur the lines, don't be a closet sinner when God is calling you to live "above only and not benieth".

What is obedience it is living by the Word of God, not some mystical voice, but by the written words found in the bible. I recommend you read the New King James Version of the bible, but any good one will do.

Our Goals

Everybody Matters Ministry is not a typical church. We don't seek to build a building, or build one church group. We seek to grow all churches. We are an online ministry, and seek to empower growth with in all churches of all denominations. We believe growth comes with encounters with Jesus. You encounter Jesus as you seek for him with your whole heart.

We also seek to see everybody loved and accepted. Everybody involved in church life. Everybody truely experiencing the love which comes from God.

We also want to see people living righteous lives, people who will not tollerate sin, in any of its forms, in their lives but rather live obediently to Jesus.

What We Believe In Detail

I believe in working together as a body of believers, I believe that God is wanting to restore to the global / worldwide church the signs and wonders found in the bible. I believe that due to the weakness and pride within the human heart it is not ideal do this alone, although some do, and God is with them. But there is not one of us who can truely say that we have God 100% figured out. However the Word of God the bible is 100% true.

Hot Topics - In Society

These are things that society debates about all the time this is my view, and what the bible teaches.

Marriage

Exclusiveness of Marriage

We believe that marriage is between a man and a woman alone. That God hates homosexuality, see next topic.

Genisis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Divorce not Encouraged

Although we understand that divorce can happen, and we don't expect you to return to your partner under all circumstances. We believe in reconcilation of marriages and expect all Christians to abide by the command in the bible as follows:

1 Corinthians 7:11 But and if she [he] depart [from a hetorosexual marriage], let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

As Jesus said the only reason you may remarry is in the case that your partner is being sexually unfaithful, I believe God is also a God of reason and gives us a mind, I believe if a partner is physically violent that God would have you seperate from them and not stay with them, and if they do not then remain faithful to you then you can remarry, but give your husband a chance to show what is really in their heart. If they love you they will attempt to change, if they don't they will go else where, trust me I am a men and know men and their sex drives.

However if you have broken any of these principals in the past there is forgivness in Jesus, and you should in general stay with your current partner, but be led by God's Spirit not me on this.

We do not believe in poligamy, multiple wives, as the bible says that church leaders should, and others should follow.

Tit 1:6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.

However if a Muslim converts to Christ, and leaves their religion, as we demand, having multiple wives they may keep their wives and also minister with in the church, but we encourage subsiquent generations to only have one wife. If a person converts from a culture has multiple wives they may retain their culture, as many in the bible had multiple wives, and we would tell them to maintain their current wives not give them away. But like wise we would encourage a single wife for every man and woman.

Gay Marriage, we in no way support gay marriage and encourage governments to oppose it. We will not vote for any party that supports Gay Marriage in any election. In countries that already have Gay Marriage we command that the partners divorce, and have no further contact with thier partner.

Preists, and marriage. We believe that the bible says that a priest or minister of religion can marry, but it is up to them to choose.

Homosexuality

Is sin, all sin is contry to the nature of God, God would have us depart from sin. To leave it behind.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

We acknowledge that people may for time to time slip into sin, or not know what sin is and walk in it for a time. But the bible is clear that Homosexuality is not God's will for us, and we must from it depart.

Abortion and Fornication

Abortion is an industry based upon convienience, people have sex with no committment, get pregnant then want a termination. This is not the way to run a society. We fully support the Ministries of abortion abolishonists, but to don't encourgae violent change, we encourage the release of Spiritual power, but you can certainly still hold a protest, or hand out leaflets.

What is Fornication

Sex outside of the bond of marriage is fornication. God wants comitted strong families, between a man and a woman alone. I know of some christians who have fallen into the sin of fornication, God will forgive this, but a grown strong Christian will marry their partner.

Pornography

Women are hurt by pornography, and every Christian man, and woman, must depart from using it. Please don't use the excuse I will never be married so it is ok to use it, God is bigger than your fears, He will provide you a partner. For the unmarried practice living pure, if you can't control your lust before marriage you won't control it after. Don't get sex advise from porn sites, Christian men are to love their wives, and appreciate the hidden inner buety of their wives, and never hit or abuse them.

Evolution

Evolution is a lie. God populated the earth in seven literal days. God formed Adam from the dust not from apes.

In the Church

Women in the Church

The following is my opinion, or best attempt to clarify the role of women in the church according to scripture.

Outside The Church

The bible encourages women, in many ways. Stating they are virtuous, kind, compassionate to the poor and needy, good home makers, good business women, and to be actively promoted in society (praised in the gates Proverbs 41:41). However I do not believe anyone should demand a position, either male or female. The bible calls us to be humble. In society women should earn their position through their achievements, and we have no problem with women recieving rewards in society, or position, and they should be included, we have no problem with women leaders in society.

Leadership within the Church

We acknowledge that many churches have women pastors, but Jesus did not choose a woman to be one of his primary leaders, although he loved women, and spent time with them, even breaking the convention that men should not talk with women. The church is to be a model of respect for God's word. The bible says that in Genisis, God put a curse on mankind for for disobedience, one being that the husband would rule over his wife. People may wish to lift that curse, but God is calling the church to obedience. God does not just lift curses because we demand it. Every thing in the Spirit of God is about subjection, being subject to God's commands, and the leading of His Spirit. Nations can not sin, and think that they will not be punished, we can not sin and think we will remain the same.

Women in Ministry

We also see from the bible that women were filled with God's spirit, and prophocied (Acts 21:9), prophecy is speaking God's oracles, speaking from God's Spirit, as Galatians 3:28 says "there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus", Galatians would suggest that as a part of the body of Christ a woman can perform any spiritual ministry a man can, including preaching or teaching. Women should be led by God's Spirit, it is not wrong for them to move in the gifts of the Spirit of God, but we must remember Paul stated that a woman should not teach or have authority over a man in church. With in the church every thing must be done with in God's order.

What is Encouraged for Women

So what does God encourage for women, Paul said the church should encourage women to be good home makers, to have and build happy families, and the older women teach the younger women how to raise their kids well, and I say not be pressured to put career before family, however looking back at proverbs we see in society women can have any role they please, again but not demand position.

Farther Clarification on Ministry Roles

I believe (because of what is wriiten in the bible) that women may recieve a message from God, or may have through their virtue, and good works, be able to speak in a church, and may perform any ministry they please outside the walls of the church, aid work, preaching, sharing the gospel. But with in the walls of the church God's word is to be honoured not mans opinions. It is right for a woman to have permission to speak with in a church, for if they have a great testomony who could deny it being spoken. But God commands obedience and submission. Women should be subject to their husbands, and the church ministry, and ask permission to speak, but not fear speaking. However I truely believe in my Spirit that God is calling the church back to the commands made by Paul in the bible, God says that every command He gives is for our edification. Now lets look at the scripture:

1 Timothy 2:13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

I don't know everything, but from reading the above scripture. I feel the bible says Adam was not decieved by the serpant, but eve was, I would say it is not the case that women are more easily decieved, but rather the power of women over men should not be understated. As a man I find women very intimidating, there is a hidden power in women. This leads to:

1Ti 2:9-10 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

There are some wonderful women out there who do good works, and pray to see mountains moved, yet they are humble, not demanding. If anyone demands, or commands, it is not of God's Spirit. But I would certainly let any woman speak in church who through submission has prooved good works. But always under the subjection of a man, it is God's order. We all should be led by God's Spirit.

Heb 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

There have been many women of faith in recent history, who have healed the sick through faith, broken addictions, delivered many souls from hell. They like Sarah, recieved strength, as they although not seeing, believed and acted on God's commands. If I had a church, and one of these women in it today, I would sit down, and say go for it, for my strength is small, faith counts. I don't deny the Joyce Myers of the world from preaching, I just encourage that such ministries, be reverent, and respectful of God's Word, and give the final command in their ministry to a man of like faith, again I say not me, some one on your level. But God has told me he want's this obedience back in the church, I decalare this not on my authority alone, but I try not to dihonor God's Spirit with in me. I may not be there yet, God asks me to do many things in faith, but I doubt and sink, God called Peter his disciple to walk on the water, he tried and he sunk, but Jesus pulled him up. But Peter tried, and He made it eventually. Jesus is not here today, our faith is limited, we all need Jesus to pull us up. Not to say you are wrong, or you believe too high, but rather to support one another to believe God's written word.

Mathew 25:26 So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

God give us each a meassure of faith, how we use it will determine what happens in the natural, but some times our faith fails and we grumble and complain. Who are the bankers? They are people like your pastors and leaders, who are attempting to stand in faith. We all need to pray and support those who in faith are believing. I feel God is asking us a a church to reinstate the belief that God's Word says, we can do anything if we have faith, why to defeat the devil, we can't do it hidden away, we need to get out there and try. The bible says raise the dead, yet we comfort those who have had love ones die, we all retreat into our doubts, and man caves, we deny God's way of saving souls, as Smith Wiggles Worth said, a man who raised the dead, Christians, all have better levels of knowledge of God's word, but fail to release its power, not understanding we are called to power.

Basic Tennants of Belief

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.

We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.

We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

What the Church Should Be

Things that charactarised the church in Acts. The bible says:

Act 2:42-46 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And [those who had excess posession, not needed for thier daily needs (1 Timothy 5:8)] sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

They:
  • Abided in Jesus commands, and the commands of the apostles, read a bible to find out what that is.
  • They reguarly meet together, for meals, where they prayed for one another, built unity with one another and the unity with God's Spirit.
  • Atfer being saved, they recieved the gift of God's Spirit, as special filling of God's power. Not every one get this straight away, some times it must be sought. But it was generally imparted by the laying on of hands of the church leaders.
  • They sold their excess posessions, and helped the genuinely needy in the church [did not support layabouts], then distributed it to the needs of those outside. But regular giving to the poor is demanded by God

Jas 2:14-16 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

But we are to do it in willingness, and but try not to love money.

2 Corinthians 9:7 - Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
